About Malakwa
Outside of Revelstoke 25 minutes to the West is the closest municipality to town. As a stop on the highway in between Revelstoke and Sicamous, Malakwa still has some relatively inexpensive large and unique tracts of land for commercial or residential real estate development.

Away from it all but close; half way to Sicamous, half way to Revelstoke. Great local ski touring at the Gorge FSR which runs just beside Malakwa up into an area next to a Cat skiing tenure. Deep Monashee powder. The area is under application for a recreational structure plan to preserve skiing and sledding opportunities.
